Intro:
Mandy here! I'm a self-proclaimed artist/mouse potato residing in East TN, and I've been a netizen since the late 90's. Fond memories of AOL Red, AIM, yahoo chats, and websites that were a destination. Current hobbies include surfing the old web, recovery and archiving, digital art, interior decorating, lucid dreaming, deep-diving into occult woo-woo nonsense, and maladaptive daydreaming.After a rough first attempt and several years since bemoaning how hard 3D art is, I'm starting to pick it up again ala Unity. Wish me luck. I've drawn comics since around 2001, was even active in the early days of DeviantArt. Now I'm beginning the journey to my first standalone project, The Golden Scarab (working title).I'm a big fan of early internet nostalgia and tech aesthetics. I've skinned my Win10 with Classic Shell to bring back the old aero look. I'm listening to my tunes through winamp and my iPod nano 2nd gen (blue). I'm using thunderbird for e-mails and added the old "You've Got Mail!" as my notification sound. The little things to bring back the comforts of yore.
